I was contacted a couple of weeks ago about a taking a Brevard Cityscape picture for Eastern Fly Fishing Magazine! They are running a special on Brevard. I had a little trouble finding a good location to take this photo. I knew I wanted the Court House, as well as the mountains in the background. I finally tracked out the owner of the Steve Owen Realty Building in downtown Brevard. I met with him last week and shot some photo out the third story window of his building. But they didn't show enough of the horizon. So I called him up yesterday and he offered for me to climb up on the roof!! I'm not scared of heights but it was mind blowing how high up we were with the cars and shops below.
This first shot is to just show how far out on the roof I actually was. It was pretty nerve racking changing lenses up there. I kept thinking what if I drop is $900.00 lens in the street!!! The second shot is the one that got submitted to the Magazine!
