Baby Sofie....

What a beautiful family baby Sofie has, mom, dad and dog Tucker! I couldn't get over the way baby Sofie followed my every move with her eyes! She stayed awake the whole session, which I didn't mind! She has the darkest eyes. This little girl is going to be a heartthrob soon enough, watch out boys...watch out dad!

Baby Ian....

I finally got to meet Tamara's new addition, Ian Paul! When Tamara told me her other two children had no hair as babies I was amazed, Ian definitely has the hair! Ian may be the youngest of the Blankenship pack, with an other sister and older brother, but I wouldn't be surprised if he could hold his own. This boy not only has hair and great muscle tone for only 2 weeks old and if you ask me he already looks like his brother Jack!

Old...

I had the day off!!!! WHAT?!?! I know, a day off for me comes maybe once a month! So I spent the day doing load after load of dirty laundry and organizing all my digital image files. I came across this photo, although its from October I found it quite funny and had to share. October is usually my busiest month for photos (everyone is wants their family portrait done in the leaves!). I rode around for about two weeks with 5 pumpkins and various other props in the back of my car...

Jones Family....

LOVE was just exploding from the Jones' house. With new baby brother, their family is complete :) And my favorite part...little Lisa is in love with the Wizard of Oz just as much as I am! These photos should warm your heart....

Welcome Baby Lilly...

I was sooooo excited about Lilly's big photo shoot! I have several friends who are expecting and Courtney was the first to bring baby Lillian Mackenzie into the world. But poor Lilly had such a big day, doctors pricking her and then we expected her to be a little model. She was so excited about her big debut that she wouldn't sleep. Here is a preview of this gorgeous girl!

Ellie and Max...

Every time I do photos of Ellie and Max I fall more in love with them. And every time I get a little closer to getting a real smile out of Ellie. I don't blame her, if some crazy lady was holding a huge camera in my face, I wouldn't smile either. hahahaha Little Max man is going be a year old next week! Enjoy this preview...

Sarah and Larry...

I met Sarah at the Asheville Wedding Festival back in January. Out of some 430 brides she is the only who I caught her name and remembered it! It was meant to be. Yesterday I got to meet, Larry, her fiance for the first time- after hearing so much about him!

I was a little nervous all week about how the weather was going to be for our shoot. I woke up to fog EVERYWHERE but we still went for it and two hours later the sun peaked through. We wrapped up on the parkway just as the clouds were rolling back in, creating a wonderful backdrop.

I think Sarah and Larry got the entire tour of Pisgah National Forest. I love how full of smiles and laughs Sarah was! It felt so warm to be in the presence of their love.

Caroline and Isabelle turn 1......

I almost cried while making this video of Caroline and Isabelle. It feels like only yesterday that I was welcoming them to the world and taking newborn photos. They still had tiny wrinkly feet and fuzzy hair. Over the past year I've watched them grow like weeds, creating their own personalities. Isabelle is a sucker for the camera, giving me her biggest smiles and giggles. Caroline, on the other hand, makes me work for those smiles but when she does give one up it melts my heart. I am truly looking forward to this next year of photographing them. There are so many more memories to capture. Happy Happy 1st birthday Caroline and Isabelle. Thank you Kimberly and Kevin for letting me into your lives to photograph your beautiful girls :)

Baby Bunnies....

These two little droolers, Ella and Evie, have gotten so big since the last time we did photos! Ella is now crawling, backwards but never the less crawling! And I absolutely loved the bunny ears....
