Earth Day...

Couldnt resists posting these few photos from Earth Day, yesterday.

The Hoseys.....

I had such a blast photographing the Hoseys. They are great friends that go way back, in fact I think they've known me since I was a sophmore in High School! Michael was the one that got me obsessed with skateboarding...back in the day.

So, although I should be working on my Senior Portfolio for school I couldnt resist giving you a little preview of their beautiful family.....more to come

Embarking on a New Adventure...

Just two days ago my boyfriend's mother and I decided to go into business together. It all happened SO quickly, actually. There is a new Gallery opening in downtown Brevard, Artisan Gifts and Trade. Lynne and I mentioned maybe selling our work there (she does stained glass). We called the gallery and the next thing I know we are renting booth space! And they open MAY 1st!!!!

Although landscape photography is not my specialty, I like to think/hope some of my landscape photos are good enough to sell :)

With final exams and portfolios due for school, on top of photo shoots and editing photos, aside from work I have ALOT to do. I spent more money than I should have on frames yesterday. But hopefully it all pays off.

The grand opening extravaganza is scheduled for SATURDAY MAY 2nd, 2009! (I will not be there as I have a wedding to shoot) but come check our booth out! I will have most of the landscape photos found on my website for sale, as well as some new stuff! They will make great gifts for friends and family (hint hint)

Speaking of adventures, Chris and I went out in search of wildflowers yesterday. It was my first trip out; Chris has tons of experience on this type of search. We found a spot where orchids are coming up and plan to go back sometime in the next week when they bloom. But here are some shots from yesterday's excursion...

Baby Raleigh....

What a trooper! Month old, Raleigh, was such an awesome subject today. His mom, dad and I moved him from pose to pose, blankets on blankets off, diaper on diaper off...

Lost in the Vault...

While working on a framing project for Clara and Grace's grandma I rediscoved these photos taken just last month! I dont know how I passed these up, they make for a great blog post! Enjoy...

More Bracken Mtn. Bakery...

Last week I snapped some more photos at Bracken Mtn. Bakery. A yummy pastry basket for their new ad coming out in Bold Life Magazine. Their website is still underway but I will post a link as soon as it goes on the Web. Until then visit and snack on some scrumptious bread...

A little Rain...

Actually it was A LOT of rain and thunder but the wedding went on. Danielle and John wanted a small simple wedding. It was very personal and I feel very lucky to have been a part of their special day, even if I did get soaked. Here is a little preview...

Slack...

I've been really slack on taking photos of the girls lately! TOO BUSY is the story of my life! Three more weeks of school for this semester. I want to thank everyone for being so supportive of my photography and getting my business up and running! I have a few weddings and some family portraits coming up.

Tiffany the Bride...

Tiffany...oh I was almost in tears while shooting the first set of photos! As a freshman in High Scool Tiffany took me under her wing. Haha, I looked up to her so much. And now my "big sister" is getting married! She is so gorgeous, I will cry at the wedding...

Laura the Bride....

I had such a hard time narrowing down which photos to use in this post! Laura was such a natural. It turned out to be a wonderful day for photos! A bit windy but after chasing after her vail once we managed ;) I cant wait for the BIG DAY...

WNC Parent Magazine...

Starting next month (May 2009) I will be advertising in WNC Parent Magazine! I am a little nervous but very excited! Its kind of a big commitment to sign an advertising contract with a magazine; Wondering if its worth the money and effort. I hope it pays off! Stephen designed some ads for me and I think I've narrowed it down to this one, with a few minor adjustments.
