Loving Food Resources Benefit

Sunday March 8th at the Grey Eagle in Asheville, Loving Food Resources will be hosing a benefit. Loving Food Resources is a foundation that provides basic needs to people living with HIV/AIDS through food, health and personal care items.

I have donated two of my framed landscape portraits to the silent auction being held at the benefit. Ontop of the silent auction there will also be bands, food and Belly Dance Troupe! Sounds like tons of fun for a good cause!

The very first post I made when starting this blog...months ago was dedicated to my Grandfather. He is the one who got me into photography. As a child I would follow him around, in and out of his darkroom, peeking in his camera bag. Before he passed away he gave me all his old 35mm film cameras. The BEST gift anyone has ever given me!


Today my mom gave me a framed photo of him. I cried (after she left the room). Now it sits on my desk where I do all my photo reviews and editing. He is my inspiration...

Forest Fire...

While driving south of Denver, to visit some friends, we passed this hillside that had been consumed by a fire a couple of years ago. The sun was setting and it made for a great photo.

Still editing photos little by little...lacking sleep. But before I hit the sack to catch up on some ZZzzzzzzz's had to post this photo. I did a shoot with thses three girls a couple of weeks ago. We had such a fun time walking their babies....

Reunited....

I had the best afternoon! I got to spend a couple of hours with my favorite adventurers, Madeline and Townsend. I've known these two since they were in diapers and I can not believe how much they've grown. We spent the afternoon skipping rocks, spotting ducks in the river, arts and crafts and grilled cheese sandwiches!

Im still a little overwhelmed at getting back into the swing of things. I hope to have photos edited and out to clients by the end of the week. I should be catching up on sleep, however I got caught up in looking at Baby Alex photos and had to post two more...

We leave Denver today :( I dread returning to the "real" world. But its been such a great trip. Chris got me the BEST National Geographic photo book for Valentines Day! :) One last post before I leave. I got to spend some time yesterday with my friends Annie and Eric and their baby Alex. I just can't seem to stop blogging tonight! Its been such a wonderful week, seeing my best friend Stephen, exploring Denver more in-depth than I have before, taking some awesome photos, oh AND spending time with my wonderful BOYFRIEND, Chris! I needed a photo of myself for my business website(www.kaeleedenise.com). My BESTEST friend Brooke was soooo nice as to take some for me. This is my fav...which is hard for me because Im not only a huge critic of my photography but of photos of myself :) Thank you Brooke, you are the best!
