Yesterday....

Things have been incredibly busy for me lately! Wonderfully busy! Yesterday on my way to Asheville I pulled off the side of the road to capture this photo of the amazing sunrise. I was surprised at how soft the lighting turned out. It makes me miss waking up at the crack of dawn and driving to the Parkway to capture the sunrise, something I used to do quite often last year.

I also met up with Clacy and Alex to do some photos yesterday afternoon. Just one to show off his gorgeous eyes.... More to come

Flower Hunting begins...

Its that time of the year again! Chris' passion is photographing rare wildflowers. I love to tag along. Chris was so excited about showing me a double budded Yellow Lady Slipper he found earlier this week, but when we got there we found it had been knocked over by the heavy rains last night :( Here are some shots from today's adventure.

Emery Wyatt Clark...

Chris and I FINALLY got to meet Emery, our unofficial nephew! My best friend Stephen and his girlfriend, Jen, have given birth to this little boy who is simply amazing and perfect in every way. I may be a little biased but I'm just saying! Stephen and Jen live in Colorado and I'm so glad they flew to SC so that Stephen's family could meet baby Emery.

Emery was the best baby I have ever done photos of. Jen was fully prepared and had him fed and changed the minute we got there. I picked him up rocked him for 2 minutes and he was completely passed out! We were able to mold and fold him for hours. There was only one pose we were unable to master.

This very fist photo cracks me up. Emery was so ready to be out of the cramped womb, Jen says he loves to stretch out when he sleeps.

My Lovies.....

My two MOST favorite girls in the whole world returned to NC for a visit this past week! It was so much fun seeing their smiling faces again, they've both grown SO much! I cant wait till June to head out to Colorado and visit them! Fun at the park.....

Dukowicz Family....

My first visit to the Asheville Arborteum this year! As usual it was simply gorgeous! I had a blast with the Dukowicz family exploring the gardens. . . .

The Metcalf Family returns....

Today has been a wonderful day of getting to reunite with old clients for some FRESH photos! The Metcalf girls are full of wonder and amazement for any adventure! We headed out to the family farm and explored the grounds :)

I feel like Eloise has grown a foot in the last 6 months and her verbal skills are out of this world. Sam....WOW is all I can say. That red hair and beautiful blue eyes! Watch out ladies...

Faithharvest....

My aunt is a Tomato grower. Her business name, Faithharvest. She grows over 36 different kinds of heirloom tomatoes and sells them to local restaurants and businesses as well as at the Tailgate market. Organic I might add. We want to document the whole planting process this year. Its a HUGE operation, basically like having over 500 babies to tend to every day! Here are some of the seedlings....
